Pangeta, often referred to as Pangaea, was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras, approximately 335 to 175 million years ago. It brought together nearly all of the Earth's landmasses into a single, massive landform. The concept of Pangaea helps explain the distribution of fossils and geological features across continents. Eventually, Pangaea began to break apart due to tectonic plate movements, leading to the formation of the continents as we know them today.
