Hint: The tangential acceleration is the acceleration along the trajectory.

reasons for any abrupt changes in acceleration, and the meaning of the sign (positive

or negative) of the acceleration.

(e) Calculate the distance (in kilometers) traveled by Stage 1 along its trajectory between
