The Holy Bible, comprising the Old Testament and the New Testament, is the sole basis of faith. There is only ONE TRUE God and that is God the Father, who is the Creator. Christ Jesus is the Son of God, the ONLY mediator between God and men, and was created by God the Father. God sanctified Christ Jesus to be without sin and bestowed Him the titles "Lord" and "Son of God." Christ Jesus is the highest creation of God. INC members were saved from the punishment of sin, because of Christ's blood. The Holy Spirit, also known as the Comforter, the Helper, and the Spirit of Truth, was sent by God to comfort us in our times of suffering and help us in remaining strong in the faith. Brother Felix Y. Manalo re-founded the Church on July 27, 1914, the day before the First World War broke out, but the true founder of the Church was Christ Jesus. The Church was established during the time Christ Jesus was alive, but in the FIRST or FOURTH century due to false teachings. The apostate Church is the Roman Catholic Church. The founding of the INC is the fulfillment of the verse Isaiah 43:5, where "east" refers to the Philippines where the Church of Christ would be founded. And it was... The INC members constitute the "elect of God" and there is no salvation outside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ). Faith alone cannot save man; faith shall be coupled with works, for faith without being proved through actions is dead. The name of the true Church is the "Church of Christ" or in Tagalog, "Iglesia Ni Cristo". Brother Felix Y. Manalo is the restorer of the Church and is regarded as the "last messenger in these last days." Brother Felix Y. Manalo is the "angel from the east" mentioned in the book of Revelation 7:1-3. He registered the Church with the Philippine government just one day before the First World War broke out. This period of time is referred to as the ends of the earth (cf. Isaiah 41:9-10; 43:5-6), the time when the end of the world is near, even at the doors (cf. Matthew 24:3, 33) which began with the outbreak of the war of global proportions (cf. Matthew 24:6-7). Brother Felix Y. Manalo is from the Philippines, which is believed to be located at the center of the "Far East". In Revelation 7:1-3, the four winds refer to the First World War and the four angels refer to the four leaders known as the big four (Woodrow Wilson, Lloyd George, Georges Clemenceau, and Vittorio Orlando), who are believed to have tried to prevent the war. Brother Felix Y. Manalo is also portrayed as the fulfillment of several passages in Isaiah and other books of the Bible. His titles are the "ravenous bird from the east" (cf. Isaiah 46:11), "worm Jacob" (cf. Psalms 22:6-7), "one shepherd" (cf. John 10:6), and the "last Elijah" (cf. Matthew 17:10-11; Malachi 4:5). Brother Felix was the chief administrator, the chief theologian, and the spiritual leader of the Church. He was the ultimate authority in all aspects of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) and "the foremost Biblical authority for all humanity and the divinely designated leader of a reestablished church of Christ in the modern world." Baptism is done by immersion, and one needs to be baptised in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) in order to become a disciple of Christ. People who wish to be baptized in the INC must first submit to a formal process taking at least six months. Once someone officially registers with their local congregation, the person is given the status of Doctrinal Instructee and taught the twenty-eight lessons concerning fundamental teachings and its beginnings in the Philippines. These lessons are contained in the doctrine manual written by the Son of Brother Felix Y. Manalo and the second Executive Minister of the Church, Eraño G. Manalo entitled "Fundamental Beliefs of the Iglesia ni Cristo". This book is given to ministers, evangelical workers, and ministerial students of the INC. Each lesson is usually thirty minutes to one hour in length. After hearing all of the lessons, the students enters a probationary period during which they are obliged to attend fifteen once-a-week group prayer meetings, where they are taught to pray and are guided in their adjustment to the INC lifestyle. When the sixth month comes, students who have been active in attending the twice-a-week worship services and whose lifestyles are in accordance with INC doctrines are screened before being baptized. During the screening, they are asked questions about the teachings of the church. INC members who are not living in accordance with the doctrines taught in the Church are admonished; those who continue to violate doctrines, even after being admonished, are excommunicated or expelled from the Church and consequently, they lose salvation; INC members do not believe in the perseverance of the saints. Eating blood and marrying or being in a romantic relationship with a non-INC member may lead an INC member to be excommunicated as required. The human being is made up of a body (physical), soul (consciousness), and spirit (life). When a human being dies, the body returns to the dust of the earth, the soul dies, and the spirit is given back to God who gave the human being it. The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) is the ONLY true Church. All words that are written in the Holy Bible are true and no verses contradict one another. The Apocrypha and Deuterocanonical books are regarded as false. On the Day of Judgement, a man may go to Heaven or be condemned to the lake of fire. Brotherhood: The INC members shall treat one another with respect and be kind to one another. God is above all. He is the Ruler of all, and no one is greater than Him.
