Asked by Wiki User

Yes is does. Thailand and Vietnam are the main enemies of Cambodia. And lately Vietnam has passed the law to banned all TV, radio, and other broadcasting from Cambodia, they don't want Khmer Krom ( Cambodian who live in the south of Cambodia, today is control by Vietnam) to hear or know things going on in Cambodia.

Did Vietnam steal land from cambodia?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The proper sentence construction should be:

Did Thailand (or Siam) steal Cambodia's Land?

Yes Thailand, and also Vietnam, they stole Cambodian's lands. They stole by war, and they stole by pretending to be friendly. Cambodian's land used to be bigger than France; Cambodia used to border China, that why many Chinese in Cambodia today. Beside, Thailand never accept this truth, they teach their generations that France and Great Britain cut down Thai lands and gave to Burma and Cambodia during the colony of Fr and UK. They also said that Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, China, and Burma took their lands. Today, Thailand is being the land robber over West Malaysia. Vietnam stole Cambodian lands when the Khmer Empire was losing its power. Vietnam came to control Cambodia along with Thailand. Then Cambodia asked France to help protected by entering French colonies.

--------------------------------

To some extent Yes (if Cambodia considers Laos and Cambodia as one country in the old age), but the French 1870's Indochina Map shows Siam stolen Burmese and Laotian lands so much. Laos and Burma used to border each other as neighbor per British 1780's map. There never was any Golden Triangle with Siam. Siam stole 64% of Laos Land (apx) and 10% of Burmese Land. While Burma, Laos and Cambodia were oppressed by The British and French, Thai took advantage of the situation, by stealing neighbor's lands and labors aggressively by renaming many Laotian cities to Thai cities, by pretending to protect Laos from the French takeover, Laotian people thought it was true and didn't complain. Now Siam made 2-3 lies to excuse. Siam should have returned all Laos land by 1954 after the French left Indochina, if Siam was telling the truth. Siam now saying the French occupied her land, this is so funny. Siam manipulated maps to post on wiki, etc.

The Chinese also took a small chunk of Laos, by changing "Sip song Pana" to Xiuanbanna by 1985, with funny story. The French protected Laos so well in early 1900's. They never lost a city until the French left, see Francois Oscar de Négrier. The stolen Laos lands are: from Lanna, chiangmai, Lampang, down to left-Korat, near Lopburi, including Isaan, down south left to Chantaboun (now Chanthaburi, to M.Trat (now M.Krat)) near Cambodia. Siam renamed everything by GREAT FRAUD. Siam also kidnapped Laos Kings and family in the 17 century. Bad Karma now is on Siam. As of 2018, Siam owed Laos 64% Land, labors, and damages. Please pay the restitution if you want to survive the mini-ice age. All Dams will stop working, no wind, no farming, no solar. Laos, the only country can create Solar energy during mini-ice age. We won't sell you any energy until you make it right. JP.

What was Khmer rouge and Pol pot's relation with Cambodia?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

How did this question come about? They have everything to do with Cambodia. Pol Pot was the leader of the Khmer Rouge, the Communist party which ruled the country, and killed between 1 and 2 million people in a very short time there, out of a population of 8 million, until the slightly less nasty fellow Communist Vietnamese army defeated them, at which point they fled into the jungle. The Khmer Rouge are called that because they were mainly Khmer (the main ethnic group there) and 'Rouge' is French for 'red' (i.e., Communist).
