Many cats in the Warriors series, particularly those from ThunderClan, respect and love Firestar for his leadership and wisdom. Firestar has formed strong bonds with his Clanmates throughout his time as leader, making him a beloved and respected figure among many cats in the series.
He doesn't have one at the moment and he commented that he was too young for an apprentice.
In "Sunrise," Hollyleaf dies during a battle with Hawkfrost when she saves Ivypool. Hollyleaf sacrifices herself so that the poison she ingested wouldn't harm any other cat.
She is never revealed, but her father is Redtail. However, many speculate that Goldenflower was her mother, because of the same pale ginger pelts.
In the book "Warriors: Sunrise" from the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, the character who dies is Bright Stream, who dies defending her kit, White Tail, from an attack by a shadowed figure.
In "Warriors: Power of Three Sunrise," Honeyfern dies after being bitten by a viper while trying to protect Briarkit. Honeyfern's death impacts ThunderClan deeply, as she was a beloved member of the clan.
Berrynose was killed by a falling tree in the final battle between the Clans at the end of the Omen of the Stars series in the Warrior Cats books. Lore-wise, it was a tragic event that affected many cats in ThunderClan.
In "Fire and Ice," the cats that die are Redtail, a ThunderClan deputy who is killed by Tigerclaw, and Whiteclaw, a RiverClan warrior who dies in a battle with ThunderClan. Additionally, Frostfur's kits are killed by ShadowClan warriors during a raid on ThunderClan camp.
